　倉鼠小巧玲瓏、活潑靈敏，十分逗人喜愛，近年來已成為流行寵物，由於野生的倉鼠一天要跑20公里，所以通常籠子裡面都會準備一個轉輪，讓喜愛奔跑的倉鼠可以適量的運動，除了轉輪以外還有轉盤，轉盤平放在籠子裡，時常讓跟不上速度的倉鼠如同在脫水機般旋轉，逗趣的模樣，讓人看了哈哈大笑。
